Pros
From the technical point of view is a interesting company. There is a lot of room for improvement and innovation.
Cons
Lack of professionalism. As I said in the headline, it's a familiar company and from a kind of people that are very closed to people that are not from their community. This kind of behavior favors people that are from their community and it's not necessary to better fit for the job. Since they try to force hierarchies to be as most as horizontal as possible, there is no much room to grow. There is also a informal hierarchy on which some very old employees have a lot of influence in decisions and internal political matters and do whatever it takes to protect their jobs when they felt threatened by it's own mistakes and from people that notes their mistakes. If you don't participate their trust group you will not have chance to grow there and not will even be listened. If you do not do a lot of lobbying it does not matter if you have the best ideas and know where the company have problems and what things the company need to do to solve them. It's very sad. It's the right place for people who love to hide problems from their bosses and protect yourselves, because there are even high employees in there that do this sort of thing.
