Pros
Flexible work arrangements. If you're good at your job, you can have a lot of influence and drive the technology and business forward.
Cons
Very political organization. There is currently a lot of change happening within the technology side of the company. The vision of this transformation is excellent -- the execution on the transformation is terrible. There is a lot of mediocre software and a lot of mediocre software developers. Management on the technology side are the ones calling the shots, but they are extremely out of touch with software development and architecture.
