      Fulfilling work with some bumps and imperfections on company-level - Consultant LRQA Group Employee Review

      Pros

      My day-to-day work fulfils me - we have interesting sustainability consulting projects, great clients and strong products and services to drive our clients' sustainability development. The team is motivated, we work together without the typical ‘elbow culture’ that you would expect in consulting. I have a lot of freedom to delve into topics that interest me and to develop new or existing products and services. I'm based in the European Advisory team, but we have a good dialogue with our colleagues in America and Asia. The exchange with the other business units could still be improved so that we can learn even more there too.

      Cons

      LRQA has only recently been established, has acquired some new companies and is currently in the typical phase of a bumpy change process, where everything is evolving, processes are not yet perfect, questions remain unanswered and there is just general uncertainty regarding further organisational, process-related and administrative matters. This doesn't directly affect my day-to-day work, but you sometimes wonder who you can ask to get clarity and when things will settle down. But the past year and also the outlook for 2025 clearly show that LRQA is working hard to solve these problems and to harmonise and integrate everyone involved...

      I come to work every day excited to work with an amazing set of colleagues, an impressive set of clients and brands, and I'm proud of the solutions we provide to our clients to help them manage their risks - from ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Cybersecurity, Food Safety, and QHSE just to name a few.       Cons

      Work-life balance is encouraged but can be a challenge because we have so much to achieve. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to set and stick to their working hours.

      Great list of clients, people are genuinely passionate at what they do, hybrid work model.

      Cons

      Employee bandwidth overload which causes burnout, employee turnover rate increasing, leadership are cold and uninspiring, demoralizing, frequent org changes
