Pros

Benefits like medical and dental are actually pretty good and while they are expensive, no more so than any other company.

Cons

Not competitive in their wages AT ALL. They pay bottom dollar for all their employees including managers and expect their employees to work long hours by themselves, and they expect the store conditions to be immaculate at all times, even though they don't allow you the manpower to do everything. Managers are always on call, and can expect to work 10-16 hours a day for weeks, even months at a time without a day off. Hiring new employees is almost impossible with their lengthy application and background checks process, then if you do get someone hired it can take one to to weeks before they get into training. I once had it take almost a month to get someone hired and actually into my store. District Managers are useless and while they may care, their hands are tied due to corporate making things more difficult day by day. Corporate does NOT care about any of their employees and likes to come in for inspections to make sure things are looking perfect, even if you bust your butt and the store looks great, they always find something to nit pick....it doesn't matter that you haven't slept in 2 days, you should have spent more time at the store making it look better....Oh I could go on and on.....Just don't work here unless you like getting paid the lowest wage in convenience stores in Lincoln and are a workaholic with no life.
