Pros
KBC has provided excellent learning opportunities by allowing me to manage various clients - from booking cash transactions, processing invoices on the Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable side, to working on revenue and running financial statements. I was able to meet many great professionals that serve as amazing mentors while working in several different teams across clients. The mentorship program made me feel supported, and it was nice to give back to the firm by getting involved as a mentor myself and their various firm initiatives. The flexibility of the job was beneficial -- People were always willing to support me, and the company had an understanding culture. The hourly pay was competitive at the market rate, and in-person team meetups provided great networking opportunities.
Cons
The company does not offer paid time off, but employees are compensated fairly with a competitive hourly rate. Additionally, transitioning to a remote job can be challenging for some individuals.
