Pros
The training in Manchester was amazing and met some great people from around Europe that I am still in contact with.
Cons
Sat around for about 4 months literally doing nothing. Salary is not fantastic but I would say is about right. Was left on my own for large parts of the week to do 'e-learning' with no guidance felt very isolated from the rest of the office. Could basically come and go as I pleased and no one seemed to care. I was really won over to joining Hilti by their supposed family focused values but then was suddenly given a life changing ultimatum by Hilti and decided to leave. Disappointed with how this went, not sure if there was disorganisation due to changes at the top but to have a new starter basically just left to their own devices is poor in my eyes. If it was a case of me being a poor employee I would understand but I was assured that was not the case. They have good people working there and a fantastic set of products so yes once again I am disappointed with how things went. Be careful when they ask are you mobile, It seems to mean are you willing to relocate where you live in Hilti.
