Pros
At the beginning lots of promises.. progressed to next level. If you have a good team that care its great. Salary competitive, no benefits... I'm sure not all Hallmark care homes are of the negative below.
Cons
5 general managers in last two years, current is sooo young its untrue... where is life experience!!! Get sent on empowerment days to progress, then to be told there is no progression.... if your face fits and your a yes person then you are okay, if you see things that are wrong and report it then not okay.. central support as good as a chocolate fire guard especially around bullying... everything gets swept under the carpet.. if you are off sick with D&V which who ever works in a care home will undoubtedly catch, then get asked by management for a stool sample!! REALLY... feel that company have lost there ethos and values along the way... too many chiefs not enough Indians... Care Awards what a shame... Dementia specialist... some carers not even had training... Senior Carers sit on backsides barking orders not even interacting with residents.. especially Dementia seniors working on communities.. too busy gossiping and throwing colleagues under the bus, who work very hard. Think Avnish needs to look long and hard at what he has created
