Pros

Working as a contract worker at HMMA has its ups and downs. As a security officer it is sometimes gonna be rough. You just have to know what you are signing up for. There are strict guidelines on when you can have a break and even use the bathroom if you are on a post. But, that’s literally why they have you there, to guard the place. It’s probably easier as a guy, because if I needed to pee. Then I was peeing in whatever area outside, but out of the view of the cameras. It’s ok pay, hard work. It’s good for retired people, or just a stepping stone to something else. If you are young and want a career, do not stay there for more than 2 years. Make something of yourself, do your job while you are there. Maybe do some networking, and then get the heck out.

Cons

Lack of bathroom breaks. Sometimes you are going to have to deal with a lot of whacky characters. There are hundreds to maybe even thousands of different contractors and and different companies there… so everyone isn’t on the same team. There are a lot of straight up physical fights, the occasional stabbing, sometimes some poor old guy will work himself too hard and die on the job, etc. Dying at work happens routinely at any super mega company though so I guess that’s not really uncommon.
