Pros
I had the misfortune to sell my hr company and stay four years in a top management position in charge of part of Central and Eastern Europe. The first two years were quite ok, however the last two, and especially the last one was terrible. Gi Group is not the place if you are enterpreneur
Cons
I have provided very correcrtly Gi Group with 12 month, and not 6 months prenotice, required by my contract, in order to have smooth transition; they came with counteroffers which I rejected; today 1,5 year after my leaving, Gi Group still owes me six digit amounts in euro, in terms of loans, which I have provided to the company, interest rates etc, and I understand I am not the first or the last partner to face such issues. Initially they refused to pay me even requied by law last salaries, holidays etc; every multinational, parting with a top manager would normally try to settle quitely, thank for the good work, pay all dues and make smooth transition, but not Gi Group - they like courts, wars and fights; and all this in a business, where reputation is most important.
