Pros

The product FreshAddress sells is great compared to the competition.

Cons

The company is just not growing, if anything it's shrinking because everyone is deciding to leave due to low morale, micromanagement, and lack of any kind of company culture.

FreshAddress Response

Contrary to the false claims of this disgruntled former employee, who was let go due to poor performance, FreshAddress continues to grow with strong sales and profits during the pandemic and is on track to finish its best year ever. Our employee retention rate is the envy of our industry with most employees having tenure here for 5 to 15+ years while continuing to share their vast experience and expertise with our clients, which include 25%+ of the Fortune 100. Our "team" culture was built from day one with employees receiving a share of our monthly net revenues along with quarterly and year-end bonuses. Even after a major investment by a private equity firm in 2018, every employee in the company - on the insistence of our founders - is included in our employee stock ownership plan, something almost unheard of in the private equity world. We're proud of the company and unique culture we've built at FreshAddress, which has enabled us to transition to 100% remote work nearly 18 months ago without missing a beat. If you're looking to join our team of hardworking, dedicated experts helping leading companies and nonprofits maximize their email marketing programs, sales, and profits/donations, please reach out.

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. In-depth and well executed on-boarding process. The sales team definitely is a teamwork environment, not each to their own. Great incentives that include wins for all. Strong products that are well supported. PE backed allowing great growth potential.

Cons

Wish some of back-end processes were more updated

Pros

No office drama, people are there to work and do a great job. Most have families and seem to have a great work/life balance without compromising the quality of the company's service/products. President is really on top of every aspect of the company without micromanaging, he trusts in the knowledge of the people the company has hired and that is HUGE. Benefits are crazy good for a small but growing company. There are some employees that have been there for 10+ years that are actively trying to improve services and products instead of simply maintaining (which many tech companies fall into). Most of all I feel respected and appreciated which no salary can buy, I truly enjoy coming into work each day.

Cons

The building seems to be getting a little too small with all the new hires. People in tech may find it strange that there isn't a culture of staying late and ordering pizza to finish a project, but this is way healthier.
