Pros
Forbes Music Company provides teachers with the tools and support to build a successful studio. For me, it's worth earning a few dollars less per lesson to have someone else take over the burden of advertising, sending invoices, and securing pre-payment. It's also wonderful to have a mediator available to assist with any issues that might arise between teachers and clients. Pros include: - Competitive compensation - Helpful staff - Full compensation for last-minute student cancellations - Weekly support calls (SOS) - Flexible scheduling - Both in-home and online teaching options - Online dashboard to log teaching hours, cancellations, etc. - Bonuses for long-term student retention
Cons
It can take time to build up your studio. For example, I started with only 2 students and it took a little while to eventually build up to 19 students.
