Pros

Decent pay and ok benefits.

Cons

EP has gone from a helpful and hopeful culture to one of instability and fear. No one feels safe in their jobs anymore and it is "anyone's guess" whether you will have a job, even if you are good at it. The $100mm acquisition of Ease was a huge waste of money to basically buy Scenechronize and some modern databases...and justify lay offs. The ESOP is a con as no employee has any say what happens to that money or how it is managed. The "surveys" are monitored by management even though they say otherwise, and managers are directed to post positive reviews here on Glassdoor to stack the deck. Disingenuous is the new norm at EP.

First, thank you for such direct feedback. EP views the acquisition of Ease as a way to leverage the strengths of both organizations and a win for our customers. The change that arises out of an acquisition can take time to settle as new structures and processes take shape. Second to clarify, an ESOP is a retirement tool giving ownership to employees; it does not give control to employees. It is meant as a way to save for one’s future after Entertainment Partners. Employees can affect the value of this retirement tool by the contribution and attitude they bring to work every day. Finally, we are not sure what you mean by surveys are monitored. We have no desire to track results back to an individual as it is the overall results that are of interest. If you have information that demonstrates otherwise, please let us know.

Pros

The team and my coworkers around me are incredible hardworking people

Cons

If you are looking for a payroll job, DO NOT WORK HERE. Here is a list of why you dont want to work at Entertainment Partners: 1. Severe underpay for amount of work assigned on a weekly basis 2. Upper management gives fake promises of promotions and career growth 3. CEO is killing the company by malpracticing basic business fundamentals which is tanking the company financially. 4. Lay offs are NOT performance based and have happened twice a year since 2023. If you are looking for an accounting or payroll job in the entertainment industry, please look at other companies such as Greenslate, Wrapbook and Cast & Crew. Its a shame that the CEO, Mark, is too far gone and doesnt learn from his mistakes. This company used to be one of the greatest in the industry. Now its a complete shell of its former glory.
