Pros
Terrific professional development! I personally had a good management structure at my post (boss and other embassy admin). A very interesting and rewarding experience, especially after you've been working in the IEP mill at home.
Cons
It's only a 10-month contract, so if you've left your job at home, you have to start looking for yet another job halfway through your contract.
