A warm, relaxed and supportive work environment. Lots of resources available to aid your tutoring and a structured pre-made lesson plan to follow. Easy to ask the team for guidance as you begin or as questions arise. But you are also given the independence and flexibility to make your own decisions about your classes. Easy communication with the team via WhatsApp.

Sometimes could be lack of communication about changes to your class, for example new students joining, but protocol is changing this. Initial training, especially around how to access the tutoring resources online, could have been more detailed.

Educate Excellence is an excellent tuition centre to work at. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here, particularly building relationships with both students and colleagues. Tutors are assigned the same fixed classes each week, which has allowed me to develop a strong rapport with my students and gain a clear understanding of their individual strengths and areas for development. The staff training is highly valuable, with regular sessions covering important topics such as safeguarding and behaviour management - both essential when working with young people. The team is supportive and approachable, and there is always someone available to offer guidance or assistance when needed.

The environment can be fast-paced, but it encourages you to stay organised and manage your time effectively.
