Pros

Supportive and friendly colleagues who are willing to help one another. Good team culture, although experiences may vary depending on management and department. Convenient location with easy access via MRT and public transport. Comfortable office environment with reliable air-conditioning. Staff discounts available at the SGH food court and selected on-campus amenities.

Cons

Extremely restrictive and outdated approach to work-from-home arrangements, even for roles that can be performed effectively remotely. A one-size-fits-all policy is applied across different job scopes. Roles that require a physical presence should not dictate workplace flexibility for roles that do not. Too much emphasis on physical presence in the office rather than productivity, performance, and deliverables. Management appears reluctant to embrace modern workplace practices despite growing evidence supporting flexible work arrangements. Employees seeking a progressive and adaptable work environment may find the culture frustratingly traditional and resistant to change.

Pros

You get paid for two hours minimum every time you go in, even if you only put in an hour or less. The teachers and students are all very nice and professional.

Cons

You have to memorize a lot of information. There isn't much prior notice of when jobs are coming, so you can't rely on this as a stable source of income.
