Pros

You get 30 minute lunch breaks. However, some drivers don't have time to take their lunch break. It's mostly the drivers at the substations. They drug test; which means you won't be working with addicts. Easy to get in, but that's because the job pays $11 an hour, and they have to take people off the streets. They are lenient sometimes. The manager and supervisors are nice.

Cons

You will get paid $11 an hour and do an absurd amount of work and hours some days. I know what time I'm suppose to be at work but never know when I'm getting off. You can't have a life when you're working with this company. Let me mention that you get Saturday and Sundays off, unfortunately, Sunday can not be considered a day off when you have to be in bed at 9:00 PM, because everyone has to be at work at 5:00 AM, on Monday morning. They do not work with outside commitments. Want to work a 2nd job (and you will have to because the pay is a slave wage) or go to school -- Good luck with that! Only drivers with routes work 50 hours or more per week. I was never given a hand-truck despite being made to deliver heavy boxes constantly.

I wonder which station you are speaking of. We have increased our Fleet Department from two (2) individuals to five (5) individuals, so we are making a worthwhile investment. Also, the compensation is no longer $11.00 per hour. Thank you, Pompey.Mansilla@DirectHitLogistics.com

Pros

Great coworkers, nice place but...

Cons

The compensation is poor, management is unsatisfactory, and as a family-owned business, bonuses and rewards are reserved for family members. This results in high turnover, as employees are often mistreated.
