Pros

There are no pros of working at Designzillas.

Cons

The entire staff of Designzillas, with the exception of the CEO and upper management, suffers from extremely low moral. This is a direct reflection of how the CEO and upper management treat their employees. The working conditions at this agency are incredibly poor; there's a low emphasis on quality of work and, as a result, a low emphasis on professional growth. The tools being used at this specific agency are outdated, and upper management has no plans whatsoever to make updates. There's an overwhelming top-down approach here as well; meaning that regardless of what the CEO and/or upper management may say, your opinions or thoughts do not matter. Pay is significantly below industry standard. In addition, benefits, while offered, are extremely restricted in what they cover. In other words, despite what they may tell you, the benefits do not make up for the lack in pay. The turn-over rate at Designzillas is insanely high. Last year alone (2014), 18 people either left or were fired. In my professional opinion, I would not recommend this agency as a legitimate choice when looking for places of employment. There's no room for growth or learning. Even if you are a recent graduate, I would still not recommend Designzillas.

We truly thank you for your feedback, and are sorry that you felt like you had a bad experience working with us. We are constantly striving to improve our employees lives at Designzillas, because here we feel we are family. We provide the following perks to all employees - Competitive pay. We firmly believe in competitive salaries for our staff, in the field of web design and marketing. We also provide annual raises for those that do great work. - 100% coverage for health, dental, vision, and life insurance for our full time employees - Free parking at a downtown office location - we know parking in Orlando is fiercely expensive, and our prime real-estate location gives you amazing access to so many close by amenities - In office ping pong, music, employee of month, and holiday celebrations - Paid Sick days and Vacation Pay. - new iMac computers - Flexible working hours We work hard and we play hard, and we feel we treat everyone with respect. As for turnover, you are not incorrect that we’ve changed staff in the past year. Primarily because we have moved towards our new business alignment of Marketing and Design as our future. We provided everyone with the option to choose if this direction aligned with their passions and career goals to openly decide if where the company was going was for them, and we understood that this future was potentially not meant for everyone. For those that decided this was not going to be a right fit, we wished them well, and provided great recommendations for those seeking new employment. We do want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our company cares deeply for our people and will always encourage open and constructive feedback.

Pros

Working at Zillas has provided endless benefits, including a supportive team, a close-knit company culture, and a commitment to professionalism across all accounts. As an account coordinator intern, I received comprehensive training in position procedures, with the trust to handle specific tasks independently. The open-door policy facilitated seamless communication for questions and support whenever I needed. Zillas encouraged me to explore interests beyond my role, contributing to both my professional and personal growth. I'm grateful to the Zillas team for providing invaluable insights about the industry and fostering lasting connections.

Cons

I find it challenging to identify any drawbacks associated with the Zillas internship program.

Pros

Good culture, decent people. A little catty at times. Seems like a clique that is hard to truly integrate in. I think there are about 3-4 roles that constantly rotate new hires. I only stayed for a few months, and honestly they wasted my time. They frequently “test” new hires. If you weren’t apart of their internship program, they likely won’t keep you.

Cons

I thought I’d stay here long term and suddenly was just let go. I worked day and night, giving my all. I also think they only hire BIPOC based on DEI. They’re the typical “support for social media” bunch, but seem to have different views in person.
