Pros

I've been working at DITA for a couple of years and I'm still having a great here. It's not the type of "sit at your desk 8h" environment, employees from different departments are always encouraged to gather together in group meetings and to do job shadowing. There is always good music playing in our open-space offices, we enjoy getting together for regular breakfast briefings and people are so fun and friendly. It is the perfect environment for open-minded people who enjoy challenges and want the experience of working for the best luxury eyewear company in the world.

Cons

You won't experience at DITA thinks like using an electronic key card to monitor how long you've sent in the kitchens and restrooms, no standing up during shifts and no glitter makeup or shiny clothes or shoes. You won't be getting any of these at DITA. DITA will give you space and freedom , only for your to make great use of it and make a unique contribution to the company's efforts to be the best in the world. For some it might be overwhelming.

Pros

I don't have any positive things to say other than at times it is a flexible job. But the cons outweigh that pro.

Cons

I would not recommend anyone to work here. It really is a boys cub don't expect anything else. If you didn't start here from almost day one your not in the club only the lifers are treated with somewhat more respectfully. In a way I wish someone would have warned me. For such a small company the turn over of employees is high! Don't expect good pay or benefits either. I was bullied all the time at this company and asked all the time to work off the clock (which is SO against the law). This company really needs to have someone come in and teach management how to be proper management. Mangers want employees to work their butt off with no incentive for the employee to do so. News flash if you don't treat your employees well then they will quit or do a horrible job or just lose complete interest. Your employees have to feel valued that is one of the keys to success! For a company that has been around since 1995 it's sad they are still lost to this concept. A lot of management has the attitude to do whatever they want they do not lead by example. It is more like do what I say not what I do. If your a manager then you need to be a better leader all around and teach by example. I could continue to write more but hopefully this is warning enough to stay away and look for better job some place else! Unless you like poor pay, benefits, abuse harassment and so on. I only wish I had left sooner!
