Pros

Coworkers are wonderful, hardworking, and most importantly, in the same boat as you! Atmosphere is fairly relaxed. Pay is fair for some (key word: some). The industry itself is interesting.

Cons

- There are individuals in upper management who are laughably unqualified - this is swept under the rug with a lot of talk but becomes evident pretty quickly - There is a distinct line in the sand between the select few upper management and everyone else - poor communication, passive aggression, and petty behavior, oh my! - COVID was handled horribly - the seriousness of the pandemic was mocked and those who chose to work from home were treated poorly - Diversity is a joke . The comments made by some of upper management would never fly in a company with real accountability - Lower level employees are not heard or taken seriously in their concerns, nor are they trusted with their jobs and integrity - Sales team are the stars - rest of the team is undervalued, underprioritized - Money is weirdly wasted in some areas while belts tighten for things that matter - The CEO and COO are spouses and this can create some subtle toxicity and discomfort

Pros

The frontline employees are generally people you'll love working with. The work was fun and I felt like I was doing something worth doing. My team was amazing to work with. Work life balance was pretty good but I've learned to protect that after working for school districts.

Cons

The general feeling while working there was that things were about to get better. I should have paid more attention to the red flags. - Lots of wearing multiple hats to bulk up your resume but very little acknowledgement of your contributions. - Sales team is the golden child despite the fact that most issue originate from sales people saying whatever they need to say to make a deal. And they are rarely held accountable - Nothing is set in stone until its actually done. Generally what you're being told is probably not what's really going to happen. - There is no salary growth going on. And best not talk about salary increases, that's a big no-no. - We're family, until you're let go without notice. - There's a lot of drinking involved in company events.
