Pros

The changes in the past year, especially in comparison to how I've heard things used to be, have made the environment positive and the vision clear. I can only speak to what ive experienced working here and i've never been more motivated. Especially considering other environments i've worked in.

Cons

No occasional work from home option.

Pros

The environment at CitiStaff is an extremely exciting, fast paced and upbeat environment. As the economy is getting better, CitiStaff is growing just as fast. We have recruiters that work extremely hard to make sure they know exactly what our contractors want in their next position, meanwhile the account managers work to find the best candidates for the clients. The relationship between the sales team and the recruiters is what allows CitiStaff to be so successful. The managers, who have first hand been to every one of our clients, communicate exactly what a client is looking for, from salary to personality. This allows our recruiters to have information most staffing companies would KILL to have to be successful. The owners have a hands off approach to managing the team. This gives employees endless opportunities to make a solid commission without someone breathing down their neck. It also allows for the team to figure out the best way they work together and succeed. There is a sense of community within the company (being a smaller company has it's advantages). Many of us socialize outside of work as well as take an annual company trip together. It is a stressful and intense environment; however, we always find time to play a game of putt putt during the day.

Cons

The freedom management allows is not for everyone. With such a hands off approach from management, people, who do not have the drive and need a pat on the back every time something happens, will probably not do well.
