It's hard to emphasize the level of toxicity that almost anyone not in leadership experiences on a daily basis. The reward for high performance is being left alone, with exception to monthly shout-outs. Even then you're still likely to get an earful about the things you're not doing perfectly
Leadership thrives on instilling fear, enforces random new initiatives based on nothing tangible, and sets unattainable goals which contributes to the significant turnover. Direction is inconsistent and erratic, very little clarity around decisions- but don't dare speak up about something you may not agree with 100% or you'll happily be replaced
Many of the tenured employees are young and not experienced enough to know better, that there are companies that actually treat you like you matter
