Pros

The benefits package for the employee is good, includes dental and vision and a good match on 401K. Health care is provided, tends to change often depending on rates, but there are some option. Is expensive to add on a spouse or child, however. Work life balance is good, you don't get contacted when on vacation or at home. Work largely stays at the office. Like with any company, they employ a couple good people within the company that are dependable and care about their colleagues.

Cons

The culture of the company is absolutely rooted in false-positivity and passive aggressiveness. No one in the company takes responsibility or is held accountable, management is not trained to manage, no true HR department, conflicting work duties, day-to-day operations management is not there, no structure, revolving door or employees with proper training on the industry not there, employees are held to different standards/some departments and employees are allowed to get away with a lot while others get hung out to dry. The company does not have a concept of what to pay employees to retain, which makes certain departments a revolving door. Not staying up with industry standards, looking to hire people with degrees at a minimum salary and load them up with industry knowledge just to lose them in 6 months. Always an overload of work, but not a good balance of spreading around duties. Quality of work suffers. Very frustrating and demoralizing place to work, which is not immediately evident. A lot of employees feel trapped and are looking for a way out.

I’m glad you enjoyed the benefits and work-life balance, but sorry your overall experience was negative. We work hard to provide a truly positive environment and are proud our team. Our managers received at least 3 management trainings this year and we have some exciting plans for manager track training starting in 2019. This year will be our biggest year yet with growth in sales and number of employees – which equates to opportunities for our people. We are also utilizing outside consultants to make sure we are paying market compensation. We have set ambitious goals for low employee turnover and have beat them 2 years in a row. I would like to hear from you directly so I can fully understand your feedback. Please email me at erica@aviatrixusa.com and I’d be happy to connect and discuss. – Erica Voss, Controller/HR
