Pros
- Cutting edge technology work for a few handful. - Fairly diverse set of businesses, product lines and business models for a company of this size, gives a good experience if you can move around to new jobs within the company. - You can get an Avaya phone at home for work :)
Cons
- "Bait" high initial salaries to attract talent. - Flex work policy was recently changed and employees are mandated to come to the office daily. Employee attendance is actually tracked. - Company cell phones have been taken away. - One of the worse 401K programs I have seen. - Old employee base and management who are fixed in there ways. Product development cycles are really, really long. Sales force is old and doesn't know how to sell in new markets with newer business models. One thing that the company can do well is cut costs, which you see in the gross margins.
