Pros

Good people in recruiter fields Excellent benefits Good location Fun work, for the most part They legit push the industry forward with innovation

Cons

Waterfall Management is a nightmare: One second they are happy, the next they have you in tears CEO has never worked a day in his life as anything but a manager, and has ZERO depth into what it's like to be a subordinate, and it shows! Terrible at planning yearly budgets, resulting in sudden unwarranted layoffs

Hello there! I'm Susie Hall, president of Vitamin T. I'm sorry you've had such a negative experience. I'm also surprised to read your comments about budgets? Vitamin T has grown every single year we've been in business in both size and headcount, so I'm not sure what you're referring to there. Regardless, I'd welcome an opportunity to talk to you to better understand what happened. I'm sure you know where to reach me! shall@vitamintalent.com or 323 475 7374

Pros

Decent benefits, but Cigna insurance likes to take the cheap route on everything from MRIs to colonoscopies.

Cons

For "budgetary reasons," my contract work for an industrial automation company got "offshored" to Asia. After working on the same ongoing project for over six years, Aquent didn't respond to my application for work on other projects, and they completely cut me off from company email or anything else. In total, I had worked for them for more than 7.5 years, and this is the way they treat people?! Also, I never got a raise in that entire time. Actually, I went from being a fulltime employee to hourly talent when there was an earlier shortage of work.
