Pros

Great product that can make a real positive impact for their customers, and a general positive company culture.

Cons

The sales management style is outdated at best, classic lead by fear. There is no trust in anyone, and a one minded approach that destroys a lot of the work of the sales people. Unfortunately the founders haven’t figured this out yet, and therefore the company remains a place I wouldn’t recommend to anyone in sales. Aquant is all about identifying the root cause of a problem to quickly fix it - I hope they are able to do that internally too.

Pros

There are still smart, hardworking people at Aquant who care deeply about their work. For a long time, the culture was collaborative and supportive, and many employees continue to give their best despite growing instability and limited leadership support.

Cons

In recent months, the company has cut some of its most dedicated and high-performing employees, seemingly to reduce overhead. Transparency has been minimal, and trust is eroding quickly. Senior leadership appears distracted and disengaged, leaving critical functions in the hands of people without the necessary expertise. As a result, roles have been eliminated, direction changes constantly, and morale has dropped significantly. It no longer feels like a place that rewards good work or values long-term contribution.

And while we truly believe in work-life balance for everyone at Aquant, including our leadership team, we appreciate the reminder that, even during personal milestones, we must continue to show up with clarity and visibility for our teams. Thank you for calling out that blind spot. Most importantly, we want to acknowledge and express deep appreciation for the people who continue to work hard and care about Aquant’s mission every day.
