I can honestly say that this is the brightest group of people I've ever seen at an organization. The global nature of the company also means you get exposure to different perspectives and ways of working. Appfire emphasizes flexibility, employee development, and a people-first culture.

Like many fast-growing companies, priorities can shift quickly, and keeping up with organizational changes can sometimes be challenging. Working across multiple time zones requires flexibility, and communication can occasionally take longer when coordinating globally. There is a lot of opportunity, but that can also mean balancing priorities. It's no secret that these challenges are present but the same would be true for any global organization.

- Heavily tied to Atlassian marketplace. As such, if Atlassian decides to make a tool that does what one of Appfire's apps does, that's lost revenue for Appfire. Similarly, if people start switching away from Atlassian products, they will have no need for Appfire products. - When I was let go as part of a reduction in force, it was a mere month or so after the most recent all hands where they claimed everything was great and that the last thing they'd ever want to do is let go of people. This also was preceded by the founder/CEO stepping down and a new CEO taking his place.
