Pros
Friendly on interview. First few weeks of employment was enjoyable. Then it all went down hill..........
Cons
Leave - Company has a policy that you cannot take leave within 90 days of employment even if you already earned it! If you leave the company with unpaid vacation do not expect a penny in compensation even if you are laid off. Training - You must work a FULL YEAR before the company will permit paid training during work hours. Plus - you have to wait ANOTHER YEAR before the company agrees to pay for the training. If you leave after the 11 month you must pay 100% of the training cost back plus your days training back to the company. Dress code - Suit and tie required everyday even though customers never appeared at the office. I was formally "written up" because I wore boats to work. We had 5 inches of snow and I was one of only a few people to show up for work. I was told I needed to bring an extra pair of shoes. I was also formally "written up" because my shirt on occasion became untucked from my paints. Old Equipment - be ready to use 10 year old cheap computers with small screen while the family management had all the luxuries. Poor Management - Passive aggression is the corporate culture. You will be asked questions all day long even though the answers are known. Be prepared to be treated as a low cast in a tribal society.
