Pros
A big positive was the calibre of clients we had a Double, they were ambitious New Zealand companies that looked to us for expertise. Because of the small-medium size of the team all employees had a role in shaping the future of these businesses and if you were willing, there was ample opportunity to take on extra responsibility and grow within your role. The team itself is great, big enough to offer a decent range of service for your clients, but small enough you could work with the leads in each departments collaboratively. Learnt a lot about digital strategy, analytics, marketing psychology and production from the entire team! Being part of a growing team is epic, we each had a say in the direction of the company and clients we wanted to work with. Super agile working environment and weren't ever jumping through corporate hoops to get things approved. If we had a good case for a new piece of camera equipment, job we wanted to pitch for, client we wanted; we were encouraged to go for it and were supported in the role. Apart from the work, we had a good social calendar. The shared space is full of young, vibrant people who love to get together monthly and Double itself looked after us with some epic team building events; karting, adventure activities, dinners etc!
Cons
Lack of free parking in Grey Lynn, but we played some good games with the parking officers hah.

Pros
Choosing to work at Double has been the BEST move for my career. I've been able to increase the scope of my role over the past 2 years as the company has grown. Working on interesting client projects means we are able to deliver incredible case studies that are continuously challenging. The team is so much fun, has a great vibe and a solid work/life balance. I couldn't be happier with my time here.
Cons
Parking can be a nuisance but easily solved by using public transport.

Pros
Flat structure - you will have a direct impact on the work and projects completed internally. Fun and inclusive culture - everyone is extremely friendly and genuine. Lots of out of work activities and meals to help bond the team and create such a tight knit family. Extreme career development - work on important projects that have a massive impact. Produce work that matters while challenging yourself at the same time (with the necessary guidance), skyrocketing your development. Dogs. Dogs literally everywhere.
Cons
None - other than maybe needing more dogs.

Pros
Young, hungry team wanting to push the envelope, continually improve and deliver better results with every project. There's plenty of opportunity to sharpen your digital skillset, collaborate with some of the best brains in the business (CRO, Analytics, Digital Ads) and provide huge growth for established and emergent NZ businesses. Leadership is transparent and team culture is great.
Cons
No cons. This is an ambitious agency with big goals and plenty of talent - therefore would suit someone who is motivated and driven. A lot of opportunity for those wanting to work for it and help grow the company.

Pros
Double practice what they preach. They care about growth, enabling the team with plenty of learning opportunities and meaningful work, and know how to have fun. You’re given the freedom to forge your own path while working with ambitious businesses seeking to scale up. More perks include free breakfasts, centralised working space in Ponsonby, flexible working hours, regular team bonding activities and great banter. I’ve work closely with Reuben and Gareth (founders of Double) who have been incredible mentors, never hesitating to offer their support.
Cons
Hard to find them if you’re a good fit for the team culture and environment.
