Great Experience - nothing else like it in NZ!
Pros
I've loved working here for the past two years: Great exposure to international projects for the World Bank, developing country governments etc (nothing else like it in NZ) mixed with interesting NZ policy work Lovely work environment, lead by personable management Chance to take on responsibilities quickly and move up Learn transferable skills in economics, policy, finance etc Good interaction with clients, even for junior staff Exposed to all parts of the business, with a good open management culture
Cons
Have to be prepared to be thrown in the deep end and work reasonably independently (I liked this, but know it's not for everyone) Work slightly longer hours than elsewhere (but interesting work and management are very hardworking, so I found it worthwhile)
