The training opportinities are minimal because all training is considered overhead so is kept to an absolute minimum, at best pretty lame CBT. Every hour training means an hour not billing the Government. Career progression is also limited because as an employee you may be embedded within a Govt department at a remote location and contact with Apptis manangement infrequent. Generally they do not know what you do on a day to day basis.

Communicaiton struggles between the top and bottom; current environment is a bit dull, tasteless, low morale; due to last year's lay offs, some are still afraid of it happening again. Lack of knowing what other opportunities are available within the organization. Growth, while professional development and tuition is supported, don't feel like anyone really cares if you attain higher certification or not. Seems like most of that is customer required or requested in order to maintain work on a specific job.
