    I worked at Airbnb full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    + Good canteen + Work from Home policy + Decent benefits although it has started to change in negative way ... + Location / office + Opportunities to Travel

    Cons

    + Hard to progress in career / no careeer opportunities for specific areas like DATA SCIENCE or MARKETING ANALYTICS - all the best jobs are located in San Francisco which if unfair as the company operates in Europe too .. + Underpaid, I saw people leave and crying because of the fact they couldn't afford to be underpaid by 7-10k annually (but they liked the job). + Too many meetings + Too many executives from Facebook...

    Advice to Management

    Develop Dublin's HQ with more career opportunites / operations. Bring some more jobs to Dublin from Finance, Marketing, Analytics and IT sector.

    I have been working at Airbnb full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Young environment, flexible work desk (you can work from a couch whenever you feel like), chance to work from home once in a while, the high number of days off, good benefits. Inspiring culture and good core values.

    Cons

    The mediation between users is very hard and you can get many stressful cases. They do a lot of talking about work/life balance and well-being but the working weekends and the weekly change of shift affect you and you often have to sacrifice your personal life.

    Do listen to your crewbies and make changes

    Pros

    Good benefits, Amazing group of people to work with and flexibility for travelling, PERFECT food program.

    Cons

    No opportunities to growth. Losing their culture, more focused on growing worldwide than keeping it real. Hard to work life balance.

    Advice to Management

    Needs better management as they don't know how to support employees stress and management are not prepared enough to help employees. Create opportunities to growth and increase salary as they should take into account that this is not Customer Service as usual, you are taking decision and dealing with more responsibilities.

    It is a very your, dynamic company to work for and has a great environment

    Cons

    The Customer service itself is not exciting but due to what the company offers is still a good job opportunity

    I have been working at Airbnb full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    I love my manager! I feel that my department is not usually respected in other companies, but we are in this one. I've traveled for work a good bit (not required) this year as opportunities have come up to visit our other offices. The health benefits are great, and mostly employer paid. The food program is outstanding. It's inspiring to be around such intelligent people with so many varied hobbies and backgrounds.

    Cons

    There isn't any 401k match at the moment.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the leadership training and keep two way communication flowing
