Pros

Hearing how pleased the families and clients are. Was at the Aut2Run, and had so many families and clients stop by and say thank you and how great they are doing with the companies support. So cool to hear this, in person. Office staff and supervisors are really helpful and supportive. They are reachable early in the mornings or even late in the evenings to help. So great!

Cons

Families that cancel alot or don't take the therapy seriously for their child. Kinda discouraging at times to see or experience that.

Low Pay and disconnected management

Pros

I feel a sense of fulfillment whenever I see the children learning. Almost all the families are nice.

Cons

The pay here is poor compared to other companies. The nature of the job itself is sometimes stressful, so it's really unfortunate that the salary provided is not enough to compensate for this. Also, the management is often hard to reach. The managers are not good at communicating with us employees, and we feel like they are always disconnected from us.

A great company to grow with

Pros

Very supportive team members across all of the departments within ABR. I've worked across three departments and each of my supervisors and/or managers have been amazing. I've advanced within the company and have always felt that my hard work has been acknowledged and rewarded. The clients and families we support are everyone's top priority and I feel honored to work for an agency that has such high standards about the service we provide.

Cons

As a Behavior Interventionist, client cancellations were hard, especially because the clients don't always provide notice and sometimes you were already on your way for session when you found out that they were cancelling. The scheduling department was always very apologetic and offered sub sessions which helped, since those were paid at a higher payrate.
