    Linux Support Engineer Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Berlin (Germany)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at TomTom (Berlin (Germany)).

    Interview

The initial contact was good had a pleasant talk with the consultant. But after that I have waited for 2 weeks for the next call which should have happened after 2 days! Then the interview with the manager came up and it was one of the strangest that I ever had. He was not interested or involved in the process, there were no exact technical questions regarding the position. The interview was stopped in the middle of my sentence because he had to go! It was scheduled for 1 hour, it lasted 30 minutes. We finished with agreement that we will continue in the following days sine there was no time, because the planning was terrible. Well 2 weeks passed again, and I had to contact hiring agent on my own to get any feedback. They apologized and offered me a call next day, but at this point I already had a bad picture about TomTom and decided to turn down the offer to proceed.

  • We’re at the dawn of a new mobility era. And our TomTom Traffic Index is at the forefront. What does this mean to you? More than you might think… http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ56I

Why the TomTom Traffic Index matters - for everyone.

Published on When we first started the Traffic Index, in 2012, we thought it would be interesting to use our data to see where the best / worst performing cities are. Over the years we've learned so much about traffic conditions all over the world, yet traffic remains a problem for everyone.
