I have been working at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores full-time (More than a year)
Benefits are decent. Bosses at least in my area are wonderful people. My boss specifically was very patient and knowledgable and could teach just about anyone. I was always treated fairly, by my manager and all bosses above him. Pay wasnt horrible, and there was constantly room to move up or around in the company.
There are a lot of politics when it comes to customer service. As with any 'customer service' job, the company wants to do the IMPOSSIBLE and please everyone. Sometimes trying to do that makes it impossible to do the other things that are expected of you. And some days there is just too much expected for you to do with the time that you are scheduled as overtime is seriously frowned upon.
I applied online. I interviewed at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores.
I applied on Indeed and someone texted me about the position. He was very nonchalant and using emojis and “lol”s and it wasn’t very professional, but to the point where it seemed like someone just got ahold of my number and it wasn’t real. He wouldn’t give me the address of the location, just told me where about it was. He essentially offered me the position before even bringing up an interview, as well.

"Even the little gestures, like celebrating birthdays or our Employee of the Month, makes people realize that we're all in this together. If you show your employees they're valued, they'll do whatever you need them to do," Love's General Manager Jamal Moore said.
