First call with recruiter, 3 interviews and a mock steerco. They make it clear they cannot pay above the mid range, although they advertise the entire range. I was excluded from the interview process on pay grounds.

Completely unprofessional process that basically always a single bias opinion of ONE Workday interviewer of 8-9 interviewers to control the outcome. Where else does 1/8 equal a majority vote? Basically someone has the power in this situation to make a judgement for any reason (may not even be true) and is given power to control someone's fate of the interview. How can that be considered ethical or a professional process. Basically ONE person (who may have a personal problem with the candidate is given the power of the decison). If 1/8 people have an issue, I would say the issue is most likely 100% personal in that case. Even 2/8 would seem highly skewed.

Extremely lengthy interview process with several managers and different members of the team. They examine you as if you are going to work for NASA. At the end of the interview process you don’t even want the job anymore.

4 total interviews, 1st one was a screening interview, 2nd one with an employee in a similar role, 3rd one with the hiring manager and the 4th one being a mock steering committee meeting with a panel of 4 employess via video call.
