I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer in May 2014
Interview
Only had one interview, fairly quick. I would say 20-30 minutes tops. They asked about 6-8 of the most standard interview questions possible. Really, looking back the whole experience was a bit of a joke for those of us who were hired. The location I worked at had never had interns before so they were creating a lot of it us as we went. In the interview they couldn't even concretely tell us what we would be doing as interns. As a whole, I hope a company like Wolters Kluwer has a tougher and more reputable interview process than what I experienced.

Interview
Asked some basic personality questions. Like what you would do in X situation, etc. they were very nice and easy going. I was surprised at how easy the questions were for an engineering intern
Hired through university. One round of interview with emphasis on technical skills. Hiring process was pretty smooth with a good pay for an Intern. The job description was not very clear initially. The expectation was to put on multiple hats.
