I applied online. I interviewed at Watertown Savings Bank in Jan 2019
Interview
Had a phone interview with the VP of HR. The interview lasted over an hour. Pretty long I thought for a screening. Pretty much every standard interview question was asked-Tell me about yourself, where do you see yourself in 5 years, one work to describe yourself.... Got asked to meet with the hiring manager. On the day of the interview, one hour before the interview as I was about the leave the house, I got a call saying the hiring manager couldn't meet with me and I would get a call later that afternoon to reschedule. I didn't get a call, so I sent out an email, no response. One week later I followed up with another email. Nothing. No response. Quite unprofessional I thought. At least have the courtesy to say, they changed their mind or make up something. Well if the interview process was this unprofessional, probably not a great place to work.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Watertown Savings Bank (Waltham, MA) in Aug 2010
Interview
The man who guided me through the process was very helpful and the interview actually seemed to go very well. They asked me the basic personality questions and also about my background experience in the banking industry. I was expecting them to make an offer but they did not; I had accepted another job offer soon after, so I did not follow up.
