Casual but a very long process that took 2 months. A few tests were administered but they were very slow to reply and set up an interview time. The recruiter was very nice and kept me informed but was unable to go into details.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Veterans United Home Loans (Lenexa, KS) in Feb 2026
Interview
The process was multiple rounds of virtual interviews followed by an in-office interview - the final one was with the department leader, and he was the final decision maker on the position
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Veterans United Home Loans in Sept 2024
Interview
Interview was simple. A few questions about how I performed in the past. Pretty standard, easy questions. They did not like being challenged though. When I asked about heavy turnover this year and micromanagement, the conversation shifted. Also, the recruiter waited until the very end of the interview to inform me that the job I was interviewing for had a start date in 4 months. I was left with a feeling that this isnjust another inside sales sweat shop. Would not recommend.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Veterans United Home Loans (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2024
Interview
Very quick process and onboarding was a breeze. Usually 2-3 rounds with one online zoom and then 2 in person. Everyone at the company is very friendly. This is a great company to work for.
