I applied online. I interviewed at Version 1 (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
Very short and relaxed presentation about yourself. Fill in a crest about how you see yourself, your achievements, and a personal motto. Although informal, it's probably important for first impressions since it's a consultancy role.
Quick Lateral/Logical Test
Group scenario- split into two groups and given an issue to discuss
Group presentation about your solution- also very relaxed
Group Interview panel
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Version 1 (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2018
Interview
Very quick over all process, three weeks from the online application to being offered the job. Online tests - self recorded video interview - assessment centre - offer. The assessment centre was a long day from 9-5 but lunch is provided and the staff are all super super nice. It consists of an intro to the company, an icebreaker of telling the group about your past/present/future, group exercises and finally a group interview of three or four people at a time. Intense but not hard.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General interview questions, what is your biggest weakness, three greatest strengths, tell me about a time you made a mistake at work, why version 1 and which of our values represents you the best.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your interview experience at Version 1. We are glad that you had a positive experience and hope that you've enjoyed working with us since accepting the offer to join our team!
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Version 1 (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2018
Interview
A few initial screening interviews, such as a short video interview, as well as a few logical reasoning tests.
Final step was a 'group assessment day', with about 15 attendees. We wer split into groups of 4/5, and they gave us a topic to debate amongst ourselves, and then with the other groups. There were no right answers, it was mainly to see how people thought, and defended their positions.
Then there was a technical challenge, where the group was asked to solve some coding related questions.
Finally, there were group interviews, where 3/4 people went in with 2 interviewers, and were each asked the same questions.

Question 1
A group of volunteers have been trapped in a cave.
Given the list of volunteers and descriptions, choose the order to save them in.
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Version 1 (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
I was required to complete two psychometric tests and 5 types of aptitude tests. The psychometric tests were simply to define what type of person you are.
The aptitude tests were based on speed as well as accuracy. You are informed that speed is imperative in these tests. One example of the type of test is as follows:
You are given 3 numbers, e.g. 3, 9 and 14. You have to select the number that is furthest away from the middle number. In this case it would be 3 as 9-3 = 6 as opposed to 14-9 = 5.
I was then interviewed by HR and a technical person which lasted around 40 mins. They went through my CV, standard interview questions as well as some technical questions.
