I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VIPKid (Cincinnati, OH) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview process was cumbersome, but necessary. The company is very thorough and expects quality from their employees. Since the company is based overseas, the process included an initial phone interview followed by a "mock" trial class. Some people are required to teach up to three mock trial classes, but I was hired after my first.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interviewer asked me to describe my experience teaching young children.
just a quick demo lesson following the course materials, then a few logistical questions and talk about the program. Was quite quick and easy overall if you have teaching experience..
Pretty simple! There was a live and recorded portion where you "teach" a sample class. My interviewer was nice and helpful. Make sure your internet is good and use a wired connection
Easy and straight forward interview process. There is a demo teaching section. This was a while ago so it may have changed. The onboarding process was also easy. Again, this was a while ago, so it may have changed.
