Applied online and spoke to a recruiter who didn't talk too much about my resume, but gave me a general overview of the company.
Next I completed an online coding challenge(3 hrs, 2 questions) as others have noted.
Next I spoke to the hiring manager for a technical phone screen. Surprisingly, the interview was not about what I could build, but about how much I could recall from my memory. So I was asked to shut my laptop and play Q & A about which CSS properties I could and could not remember.
My recommendation to the company if someone is reading, would be to re-evaluate how you interview front-end engineers, other tech companies have moved on and actually have really interesting phone screens where they evaluate you by asking you to build something valuable.
