I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Clemson, SC) in Oct 2018
Interview
2 coding questions, group interview. One OO design question, One algorithms question, present solution for each question. the design question was very open ended and the time limit was hard for us to stay within
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
rearrange 20 lines of code so it makes sense. then explain the code and some other stuff about security. the group part of the interview was interesting
Lots of behavioral questions and a technical question unscramble focusing on understanding your collaboration skills and communication skills done with another interviewee. Priority here is to show the interviewer you can work well in a team.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Zoomvliet) in Nov 2024
Interview
One HR phone call: how much experience in this or that language? tell me about your projects. Etc etc
One technical round: You and at least one other person perform a pseudocode scramble style question where you are tasked with organizing the pieces so that they build an app. (They are looking for thought process and teamwork here)
They also give you a case study to perform.
The interview process was simple and well organized. Got a call back the day after applying to schedule an online interview. Enjoyed the process of interviewing with the Home Depot
