Interview was great and easy going. I did not feel nervous nor out of place. Interviewing team was welcoming and made me feel good. I interviewed with 2 different team members and both were easy going.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about my experience in workflow of project management and how comfortable I felt in reviewing engineering drawings.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Talos Energy in Jul 2023
Interview
1. Initial phone screen was positive and productive. The interviewer emailed me a few days later to let me know she wanted me to come into the office for another interview with her manager and the rest of the team in a couple of weeks. I spent the following weekend prepping for the 2nd interview, even put together a deck detailing my solutions for challenges the interviewer brought up. 2. After a month goes by with no news or next steps from the interviewer, I follow up to get an update. The interviewer lets me know they have been otherwise occupied and have temporarily paused interviews. However, when interviews pick up again, she will reach out with next steps. 3. Over two more months go by with no news or next steps from the interviewer. I follow up once more to see if the pause is still temporary or permenant. The interviewer informs me that they decided to move forward with another candidate. What just happened? 🤔

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Talos Energy (Houston, TX) in Sept 2022
Interview
2 phase process. First interview was with department head and other department heads that I would be working with. Second interview was with HR, CEO, and controller. Everyone there was very professional and polite. They have a good process for screening and ask many personal questions. They want to make sure you are a good personality fit.
