I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker (Amsterdam) in Apr 2019
Interview
I had a first interview with an HR representative, a second one with the relevant manager and lastly I was interviewed by Gallup, an external consultant that Stryker relies to for candidate profile buildup. I did not progress further based on the outcome of this last step, as the initial interviewer was kind enough to call me and notify me that my profile was not a perfect match based on some soft skills.
Overall it was a pleasant enough experience. I took the Gallup interview in my mothertongue (Italian), but the person who interviewed me did not speak it fluently, which made the thing a bit awkward. A few of the questions were probably worded slightly differently than how a native would and in order to answer I had to think of the likely original English phrase they likely came from.
My advice to anybody speaking good English (level B2 or better) is to ask to take the Gallup test directly in English as it would probably make for a smoother experience.

Question 1
Just general questions about your previous experiences and motivations. Nothing that I would consider out of the ordinary.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Stryker (Amsterdam) in Jun 2025
Interview
1. online application 2. HR screening 3. Teams meeting with a team lead 4. Gallup assessment 5. Teams meeting with a department head and a team member
It went smoothly for the most part, especially because they employ a bot to schedule calls. However, I had been ghosted for more than a month after the last round of the interview, after multiple follow-up emails and calls to the HR personnel. I withdrew my application at the one-month mark, but they also do not react to it at all. They are responsive until you are not chosen.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Stryker

Long process with 4 different interviews consisting of meeting 3 different managers over 3 different locations, FL, AZ, Mexico. First interview with corporate recruiter unrelated to any of the job functions/sites. Second with hiring manager. Third with a secondary manager tied to the project the hire would be working on, but at a secondary offsite location.
