I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Statistics Canada (Vancouver, BC) in May 2017

      Interview

A 30 mins phone interview with two friendly gentlemen. Many thanks to them for telling me not to be nervous in the beginning of the interview since it is the first developer interview i have ever had (of course, I didn't tell them that). The technical questions OOP and databases related. They value the ability and willingness to learn so definitely show your interests in exploring new technologies.

      Interview

Nice, 30 minute phone interview with two good-humoured and civil gentlemen. Got a call and finished exactly half an hour later. They asked me a lot of knowledge questions about object-oriented and database concepts, as well as some behavioural questions too.

      Interview

30 minute phone interview with 2 gentlemen. General question about object oriented programming kind of caught me off guard but I think they were just looking for me to explain a couple principals (inheritance, encapsulation, etc.). Overall the interview was fairly easy going and there were no coding challenges before being offered a position.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Explain some advantages of object oriented programming using OOP principals.
      Answer question

      Question 2

Explain how teamwork has helped you in previous projects.

      Question 3
