It was a phone call interview going over resume and past experience. I think they have 2-3 rounds of interviews. They do take a while to get back to you about the opportunity.
It was a two part interview. The first screening interview only took about 30 minutes; basically the hiring manager going over the goals of the company and what they were looking for in a job candidate. The second interview lasted 2 hours over the course of a casual conversation and describing what I would be doing for Spark Energy.

Question 1
What is your best quality, tell us why and how it will benefit the company?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Spark Energy in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied online, didn't hear back from HR until three weeks later. Scheduled a phone interview with the hiring manager in three days, which lasted for 40 minutes. The conversation went well, I think the HM was looking for a person with an interest in data analysis and also having a solid background in SQL. He promised to let me know the next step in two weeks, however I never hear from them afterwards. Not that professional.

Question 1
Basic SQL questions, behavioral based scenario questions. Nothing too tricky but more technical than I expected it to be.
