I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Smartsheet (Bellevue, WA) in Jul 2021
Interview
Good interview. Quick 30 minute call, then a 4 hour interview with multiple interviewers. Overall very thorough and good introduction to many people you will work with both directly and indirectly.

Interview
The interview process was pretty laid back. I enjoyed the first two interviews I had quite a bit, as the conversations felt very human and relaxed. A few behavioral and technical questions were asked to get a better understanding of my background.
Honestly, my issues are more with the final interview and follow up. My final interview was a panel with 3 members of the team I would be joining. 1 of them was great to talk to and had a lot of great insight into the role, but the other 2 didn't really seem interested to talk to me. It felt very robotic and that they were more forced into having to do an interview rather than find a good candidate for their team. At this stage, I was turned down for the position. No big deal - it happens and I'm sure they found someone great for the position.
When I got the rejection email, I reached out to my recruiter to thank them for their time and ask for specific feedback from the interview process on what I could have improved on. It's been a few weeks and I have heard nothing back. Needless to say, this was extremely disappointing. I put in a decent amount of time into their interview process (roughly two and a half to three hours), so the least I would expect is the courtesy to provide specific feedback on what could have been done differently.
