I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2015
Interview
Interview process and recruiting team were highly professional. Spoke with 4-5 leaders across various areas of the firm. They took a very hands-on approach to ensure there was a good culture, career, and skill fit for the role I interviewed for. Of paramount importance to them was ensuring there was an opportunity to set me up for success. I felt like there was a genuine interest and partnership in exploring various roles and opportunities throughout the interview process. I was keen on understanding where I could provide immediate lift, Slalom did a wonderful job of allowing me to speak with different leaders and consultants before I made a decision to join. Overall just a pleasant and rewarding interview process regardless of career level they look to do what's right for you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you envision your career developing at Slalom vs. other organizations?
I met with a variety of team members ranging in seniority over a 2 month period. Each interviewer asked similar questions related to my work experience. The process was rather clumsy and I got the impression they were more interested in cultural fit than testing for specific skills.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Denver, CO) in Feb 2020
Interview
Went through a very thorough interview process that involved meeting with half a dozen leaders as well as presenting a case study to a panel. Enjoyed the process even though it was fairly lengthy (6 weeks).

Question 1
Explain your biggest professional failure and how you responded to it?
Thank you for taking time to give us feedback, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the process. We do like to ensure there is a good fit for all of our hires, and especially our leaders. We're glad you will be joining our Slalom team and that interviewing was a positive experience. Welcome!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Boston, MA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Had a connection (former supervisor) who, based on his position, helped expedite my round #1 of interviews. Process is extremely thorough and each interviewer has an 'angle' to probe and the follow-up is very detailed. No stone is left un-turned. As Peter Drucker famously said: "Culture eats Strategy for breakfast" and Slalom exemplifies this, so they really make sure there is a good cultural fit on top of the obvious skill-set matches for the role. Overall an outstanding process.
