An absolute joke. Had a phone screening, a written test, two on-sites (including CEO, CPO, directors...). Got great feedback during the whole process.
They let me know what they could pay for the role, which was way less than I was making in a more junior role, so I asked their thoughts per email if they could be flexible and maybe go a little higher. Just an open question asking if we could meet in the middle. What I got back? "Sorry, we can't accommodate that. Good luck on your job search!". So apparently it's take it or leave whatever they say, or they'll pull back a potential offer. Even if it's closer to a junior salary for a senior role, even though you've interviewed on-site twice with C-level execs with good feedback.
Oh, another detail? They send you this "culture deck" when you're interviewing (which basically is 50 slides where every 5th slide says "Be productive or get fired. We pay top of market, way more than other startups, for A players". Yeah, no thanks.
