Do not waste your time! The interview consists of 3 steps, interview with the recruiter and hiring manager, take home assignment, and with 3 software engineers. There were some red flags during the process. First, the recruiter ask if the salary is negotiable. If you said yes, they probably would like to proceed your application to hiring manager. The hiring manager interview was fine. The take home assignment is not that hard, just some OOP related challenges. But the recruiter really want me to rushly finish the assignment, even though I already asked for extended time. You can't expect a candidate to fully focus on your assignment, we already busy with our current job's responsibilities. This is why take home assignment that could probably take up your hours is not a good way to filter your candidate. Just do live coding sessions immediately or just give us some assignments that won't take so much of our times. But the nastiest part was the interview with their engineers. 3 people are too much for open discussion and sometimes they were just contradicting with each other. There was a system design challenge, and even though they already stated "there is no right or wrong in system design", the feedback they give back to me was my design is to complex and I didn't explain it well. Why would you even need to state that if in the end you would judge it like that? Even then I DID explain everything very well, there were no questions I left unanswered. You also cannot expect me to answer all questions regarding the take home assignment after leave me hanging for about 1 week or more after submitted the assignment (yes, have to wait for this interview for that duration, even then I'm the one who need to follow-up with the recruiter first, they didn't give any response at first). After interview process with their engineers, the recruiter even ghosted me and I have to follow-up them. They said the "scalability requirements" did not pass their criterias. I asked about this and they did give their feedback. I appreciate their willingness to give the feedback but honestly, shocked with what they have wrote. There is no anything related to this "scalability requirements" on the feedback, nor there were anything related to it during the interview with their engineers. Some of the feedback also contradicting with each other, and some of them were not true too.

I had a disappointing interview experience due to their poor communication. After the initial call with the TA, where the person expressed interest in scheduling the next interview, I never heard back from that person.
